I recently visited Boots Opticians for an eye test and ultimately a new pair of glasses. Although the cost of the service and the glasses has increased, along with everything else these days, I was impressed with the knowledge and customer service I received. The staff were friendly and helpful.
My only criticism is that I had to visit the Boots Opticians in the city centre and therefore incurring parking costs of £3. I used to visit an out of town store which was far more convenient with no parking charges.

After recently having an eye test at Specsavers, Weymouth, I chose to visit Boots, Weymouthto select a new pair of glasses as the service at Specsavers didn't make me feel that I wanted to purchase a pair of glasses from them.
On entering Boots store, I felt special immediately due to Grants very friendly approach. With his vast experience he selected a few different pairs of glasses for me to try which he thought would suit me. How right he was. He also clarified my lens requirements and asked for 2nd opinions from Katrina and Rachel who were also very honest. Josh confirmed the recommendations which resulted in me purchasing a new pair of glasses with higher spec lens on the spot. Looking forward to collecting these in 10 days time.
What a fab, friendly team and I will definitely return and recommend.

Great service in Uxbridge very helpful and professional staff specifically Mr Akhil . New technology that scans your features and digitally tries on new glasses which I was sceptical about but it was fabulously easy to try on different styles and get an idea of what styles suit and can help narrow down the final choices.

Belfast branch, my spectacles frame, not from Boots, needed to be adjusted. Very quick service, no waiting time, extremely friendly and helpful staff. Very good experience.

In the hottest day of the year, I arrived early and was welcomed to sit in air con with a cold drink of water. In the event I could be seen, and went through tests and discussion ( with Stephanie) I am due to return for eye drops Stephanie recommended this as on a hot day and walking, I might be unsteady. Excellent customer care from a telephone call to a personal visit. Staff I engaged with were more than happy to help. Yasmeen was so lovely, pleasant, knowledgeable and nothing was too much. It makes a world of difference when you are well looked after at a shop which is a rarity these days.
